TAPESTRY"

by and featuring B.J. Abraham & Audrey Galex

Tapestry is two women storytellers who use their respective faiths and cultural heritages to foster cross-cultural understanding.  B.J. Abraham grew up as a Lebanese Christian in the Mississippi Delta and brings into her stories many of the accents and characters with which she grew up.  Audrey Galex grew up along the Mississippi River in Illinois and was immersed in stories of her Jewish heritage.  B.J. and Audrey have come together to create a tandem story that provides a model for listening, peaceful coexistence and hope. Tapestry performances have been described as “humorous, moving and empowering.”

Shows run from April 22 - 25, 2004.  Performance schedule is Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. Ticket prices are $24 for adults and $18 for Students and Senior Citizens.  Subscription Packages and Group rates are available.
