Hang on for the ride! A versatile cast of four creates a unique and entertaining evening of song, dance and sketch comedy as they hold up the mirror to modern family life. It is a fresh contemporary look at the typical and not so typical American family as they embark on “The Roller Coaster of Life.” This delightful journey down the road of life hits all the highlights, from senior prom, to childbirth, blind dates, empty nests, aging parents, and what it really means to be a family.
“Judgment” adapted for the stage by Betty Cooper Hirt from the short story by Ferrol Sams
June 2 - 20, 2010
From one of the South’s best loved authors comes a hilarious tale that illuminates the human mind and spirit. Ruthie Lee truly believes in the Lord and the Methodist Church and does not take much of anything – including herself- too seriously. When she finds herself alone in church after services she shares stories of her community, pastors – past and present and herself. Ferrol Sams probes deeply into the irony, humor and fickleness of humankind and comes up with precious nuggets of universal truth. The play features Jill Jane Clements as Ruthie Lee.

“Dead Certain” A Mystery Thriller By Marcus Lloyd
April 14 - May 2, 2010
Charming and good looking but never more than a few steps from self-destruction, Michael is an out-of-work actor who was once on the verge of stardom. Elizabeth is a theatre-obsessed ex-dancer who is now wheelchair-bound and lives alone in a large country house. When she contacts Michael's agent and offers a large fee if Michael will visit her and act out a play she has written, he jumps at the chance. The evening appears to begin quite straightforwardly. But when they start to read Elizabeth's script, Michael is startled to find disturbing similarities to real life-including an apparent transcript of the first conversation they had when he arrived. How could she have possibly written that beforehand? Plying him with drink and using considerable cunning, she gradually manages to undermine his self-confidence, systematically causing him to doubt the reliability of his memory and even his own sanity. But why? What is in it for her, and what does fate have in store for them both? The suspense builds layer upon layer as this taut psychological thriller gathers speed at an alarming rate towards a gripping climax, where truth and illusion become almost inseparably entangled in a real life game of cat and mouse.
