This romantic World Premiere and sequel to “Last Train to Nibroc” follows newlyweds May and Raleigh as they begin their journey as man and wife during the turbulent times of WW II. A victory overseas brings unforeseen changes to their small Kentucky town resulting in a surprising opportunity to embark on a life-long dream.
“See Rock City” stars Barbara Cole, returning in the role of May, Geoff “Googie” Uterhardt as Raleigh, Karen Howell and Judy Leavell. The ART Station production will feature direction by David Thomas, costume design by Ashley Holmes, and set and lighting designs by Michael Hidalgo.
Performances are Thursdays – Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 3:00 p.m. The matinee on Sunday, March 13 is at 5:00 p.m. and there will be no performance on Thursday, March 17 due to ART Station’s annual St. Patrick’s Day event, “Raising of the Green”. Ticket prices are $25 for Adults and $19 Seniors/Students. Preview performances on Wednesday and Thursday, March 9 and 10 are $16. To purchase tickets call the Box Office at 770 469 1105. All performances are in the ART Station Theatre located at 5384 Manor Drive in Historic Stone Mountain Village. The Village of Stone Mountain is located in the City of Stone Mountain one exit prior to Stone Mountain Park.
