“Rockin' Around the Clock” ART Station Youth Performance Company  

Come experience the Youth Performance Company as they perform Rock n' Roll from its origins through the first fifty years. Audiences will rock with Elvis, Chubby Checker, The Platters, Lionel Ritchie, Gladys Knight and the Pips, and many other artists from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  ART Station Rocks! And you will too!

“Folktales with Akbar Imhotep”

Audience favorite Akbar creates fun-filled storytelling presentations for story lovers, listeners and readers which include innovative hand and rod puppets that are used to assist this wonderful storyteller perform his stories.  Akbar is more than a storyteller.  He’s a festival of storytelling.

“What Do You Say?”  ART Station Improv Company – Improvisational actors collect suggestions from the audience on who, what, when or where about a scene and then instantly perform sketches, skits and stories to the amusement of everyone.

“Southern Fried Fables and Other Stories” with David Hirt

Hear some Southern twists on Aesop’s famous fables by Master Storyteller David Hirt. 

David Hirt has astonishing ability as a storyteller with a great natural voice that is very versatile allowing him to use his incredibly skills to entertain, offer a laugh, inform and even enlighten.

“Twentieth Century Songbook” Wendy Bennett takes a trip through musical history.  With the help of costumes, students enjoy a hit parade of tunes from the early 1900's right up to the present. Audiences learn how historical events, customs, and attitudes are reflected through popular music.
