This professional two week program introduces campers to the theatre production and performance process. Daily drama classes & rehearsals utilize improvisation, theatre games, singing, dancing, poetry and visual arts. The session culminates with an original show, created and performed by the campers on Friday, June 12 (for the 1st session) and Friday, June 26 (for the 2nd session).
ART Station is proud to announce our fifth annual Performance Program for Youth. Actors from 6-12 (another program is available for teens) will work in a professional setting to experience the theatre production and performance process. This two week program will include daily drama classes as well as rehearsal time for the performance. At the end of the program, all students will perform in an exciting production. Directors, instructors, and choreographers are working professionals who are respected throughout the industry. Directed by Wendy Bennett, former director of the Alliance Theatre Performance Company, this program has become a favorite with young actors throughout the Metro Atlanta area.
What you need to know...
• Classes begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m.
• Snacks will be provided for students
• Students must bring a sack lunch
• Before and After Care is provided, if needed (8 a.m. - 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to
6 p.m.)
• $10 fee for refunds requested prior to May 15th—absolutely no refunds after
May 15, 2009
• A $25 fee for returned checks will be charged.
• Please note that remaining program fees are due June 1, 2009 (for the 1st
session) and June 15, 2009 (for the 2nd session).
