Date Night Pottery

Date Night Pottery is held the 2nd and 4th Saturday of most months from 7 - 9 p.m. Please check upcoming dates below. Bring your date, your spouse or your partner for an evening of romance. It doesn't matter if it’s your first date or your 50th, you’ll spend an enjoyable Saturday evening playing in the clay. Add in a little music, a glass of wine, some light hors d'oeuvres and you’ve got the perfect recipe for a date you’ll talk to your friends about for weeks. The cost is only $50.00 per pair per class. All supplies are included. Reservations are required.

The schedule:

7:00 p.m. Arrive at ART Station, meet in the bar café area for drinks, wine and cheese while you meet and greet the other participants

7:15 p.m. Wine and cheese continues while an ART Station staff member provides a 15 minute tour of the three shows in the ART Station Galleries.

7:30 p.m. Transfer to the ART Station Ceramic Studio and start playing in the clay. The first project will be led by the instructor and all participants will do similar projects for the first 30 minutes. This will be an exercise that will introduce the participants to the basics of hand-building with clay.

8:00 p.m. Participants are asked to think about a project they would like to complete, either together as a couple, or individually. Visualizing and sketching out the project before the night of the event works better. The instructor will assist all participants in completing the project during the last hour of the evening.

Wine and cheese is served throughout the evening.

Upcoming Date Night Pottery Dates are April 12 & April 26

All projects are fired and glazed by the ART Station Pottery Instructor. All participants will be called to pick up completed projects when the second firing has been completed. This usually takes about two weeks.

Wine And Cheese — A Groovy Twosome

Wine and cheese are natural food partners. Both are products of the fermentation process and offer a wide variety of styles from simple to complex. You cannot go wrong eating cheese, crusty bread, and wine while playing in the ART Station pottery studio.
