Monday Oil & Acrylic
Painting Class
This oil painting class is taught by Nancy Lu who has studied
with notable artists such as Buck Paulson, Brenda Harris, Lynne Pittard, Gary
Jenkins, and Bill Blackmon. The class meets on Mondays from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and
is geared to the beginner or intermediate painter. The class exercises explore
both still life and landscapes. The class meets for six weeks and begins Monday,
October 10 and ends Monday, November 14. Cost of the class is $99 ($109
non-members) and a supply list is provided by the instructor prior to the first
class meeting.
Well Begun Is Half Done
This is a writing class taught by Atlanta's popular novelist
Nancy Knight. Nancy has published over 25 novels and is known throughout the
Atlanta area as the "guru" on how to construct that novel that you have always
wanted to write. She also offers expert publishing advise and provides lots of
"hand-outs" that really are pertinent to today's publishing industry. The class
meets on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. beginning Tuesday, October 11
and ending Tuesday, November 15. The fee for the class is $99 ($109 non-members)
plus a $10 supply fee for workshop handouts.
Beginning & Intermediate Pottery
Taught by ART Station's long time pottery instructor Angela
Williams, this ceramics class involves both work in hand building and on the
wheel. The class explores a variety of techniques and allows for under glazing
and high fire glazing. The class meets on Monday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
beginning Monday, October 10 and ending Monday, November 14. The fee for the
class is $99 ($109 non-members). A one time $10 fee for a bag of clay is
required.
