	The ART Station Dog walk is an opportunity to spend quality time with your dog while supporting ART Station. Participants in prior year's Dog Walks click to enlarge This unique fundraiser is a family-oriented event, featuring two walks, a raffle and the signature event, the ARF ART contest (and more) for young and old, and dogs of all sizes. Walkers are invited to bring their family dog to participate in a one-mile or a three-mile walk. Trophies and great prizes are given for most money raised. Additionally, winners will have their photos sent out to our local press with a press release. T-shirts are presented to each pet owner for at least $100 in pledges raised (pooch Pal Sponsor) and bandannas are given to every participating dog. Raffle participants have the opportunity to win terrific prizes. Additional prize categories include Look-A-Like, Best Trick, Best Singer, Best Smile, and Shortest/Longest Tail. All proceeds support ART Station’s outreach programs in DeKalb County Schools and Metro-Atlanta Boys & Girls Clubs. ART Station also provides an outstanding summer arts camp. ArtTime was nominated for the Abby Award by the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce for excellence in children’s art education & received the Excellence in Education Abby Award in 2000. ART Station received a challenge grant from a local foundation to be used exclusively for the outreach programs. For each dollar raised for the program, ART Station will receive a matching dollar up to the amount of $25,000
	Step 1:	Register Today - Registration fee is $25 per dog, 2 dog maximum ($20 if received by May 3, 2008). The Registration Fee is waived if $75 in pledges is raised!
	Step 2:	Raise Pledges - Ask family, friends, neighbors and co-workers to make a tax deductible donation to help support the ART Station's efforts. If you company has a matching gifts program, please return the form along with your pledges and funds.
	Step 3:	Collect Pledges and funds and bring them with you on the day of the event. Use the attached form and make additional copies if needed. Please make checks payable to: ART Station, P.O. Box 1998, Stone Mountain, GA 30086.
	Step 4:	Check in May 10 with your pooch on a leash, check in at the new Stone Mountain Village Dog Park one block south of ART Station between 3rd & 4th streets.
		Early check-in is advised For either of the walks: 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Paws will hit the pavement at 10:00 a.m.
	Throughout the morning Dog-walk participants will enjoy fun contests, raffles, and giveaways such as ARF ART (the signature event), Dog/Owner Look-A-Like, Best Trick, Best Singer, Best Costume, and more .....
